The Chamber of Commerce of Florence, in collaboration with trade associations and consumer groups, has carried out the “work at home”, designed to regulate an industry too often confrontational, which includes: installation and maintenance of electrical systems , electronic and termoidraulici, boilers and appliances, blacksmiths, carpenters and installers of windows, masons and other construction workers, painters, chimney sweeps, glaziers and cleaning companies.

The control system has the following purposes:

• Dictate clear rules of conduct for businesses and their customers;
• Preventing conflicts in this area;
• Resolve disputes, through recourse to the conciliation service.

The system is based on five pillars that hold up each other: a convention, a regulation, a hallmark, a supervisory committee, the reconciliation. The agreement that the rules of conduct which companies in the sector “work at home” and the customer must follow in their relationships. The regulation, through the establishment of the hallmark and the Board of Supervisors, shall ensure compliance and effectiveness.
